Admiralty RYA Electronic Chart Plotter – Training Version is a classroom-friendly navigation simulator designed to mirror the workflow of a modern electronic chart plotter for RYA-aligned courses. It provides a safe, resettable environment for practicing passage planning, waypoint and route management, bearings and distances, tidal considerations, safety checks, and emergency drills—using training charts that emulate Admiralty-style cartography. It’s ideal for instructors and students preparing for Day Skipper through Yachtmaster theory.

Key features:

  • Realistic chart interface with standard marine symbols and layers
  • Waypoint, route, and track tools with distance, bearing, ETA/ETE, and XTE
  • Measuring aids including range and bearing lines and course-to-steer
  • Time shift for planning around tides and streams
  • Simulated vessel movement for drills, including MOB practice
  • Scenario-based exercises with pause, replay, and reset for repeatable training
  • Dim/night display options and straightforward classroom setup

Note: This training version is intended for instruction and practice only and is not approved for real-world navigation.
